Have you ever stopped to wonder at the sheer magnitude of the phrase "The Word became flesh"? It’s not just a poetic sentence; it’s the foundation of everything we believe. It’s called the Incarnation—the moment the eternal, infinite Creator stepped into time, skin, and bone to meet us where we are. 🕊️
📖 The Word Among Us (John 1:14)
The "Logos" (the Word) wasn't just a message; He is a Person. In John 1:14, we see the ultimate bridge being built. God didn't just shout His love from a distance; He became one of us to show us the way home.
👑 The King in Waiting (Matthew 26:64 & Mark 14:62)
When Jesus stood before the high priest, He revealed His true identity. By calling Himself the "Son of Man," He wasn't just claiming humanity—He was claiming the ultimate authority.
Matthew 26:64: "Soon you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power..."
Mark 14:62: "I am... and you will see the Son of Man... coming with the clouds of heaven."
Jesus was telling them that the humble "flesh" they saw standing before them was the same King who would one day rule the universe. He is both our Brother in humanity and our Lord in glory! 🙌
💡 Why It Matters Today
The Incarnation means God understands your pain, your exhaustion, and your joy—because He felt them too. He took on flesh so that we could one day take on His righteousness.
"He was made what we are, that He might make us what He is." — Athanasius of Alexandria
📜 More Scripture to Meditate On:
Philippians 2:7: "...but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men."
Hebrews 4:15: "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin."
Colossians 1:15: "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation."

John 14:6
Evangelical Heritage Version
Jesus said to him, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, 'except through me' (Jesus)."
This is why we end our prayer "In 'Jesus'Name' I pray amen!"
📜 The Prayer
“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,
and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts
and give me your thoughts Father all the time,
as I do not even want my thoughts.”
In Jesus Name I pray amen!
