“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”

There is a moment that comes to every believer, sooner or later, when the road ahead goes dark. The paycheck doesn't stretch far enough. The diagnosis doesn't make sense. The prayer doesn't seem to be answered on the timeline we hoped for. In those moments, we are faced with a choice that the Apostle Paul described nearly two thousand years ago:

Jehovah, our fortress and our strength, we come before You today aware that we are in a battle bigger than what our eyes can see. Equip us this morning. Clothe us in what You have already provided. Teach us to stand, and give us the courage to stand firm. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Jehovah, Father of mercy, we come to You today as we are — some of us far from home in our hearts, some of us weary from trying to earn what You already freely give. Meet us on the road this morning. Run to us, as You always have. Open our ears to hear this story as if for the first time. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Jehovah, You who see every person we pass by, open our eyes this morning. Where we have grown numb, make us tender again. Where we have grown busy, slow us down. Teach us not just to know who our neighbor is, but to become one. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Reality of the Tempest Beloved brothers and sisters, grace and peace be multiplied unto you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you look around the world today, it does not take long to realize that we live in turbulent times. People are weary. Hearts are heavy. Everywhere you turn, someone is facing a personal trial, a physical burden, or a spiritual battle that feels entirely too large to carry alone.

Church, today I stand before you with a message that has been burning in my spirit — a message for every believer, every servant, every leader, every child of Jehovah who hears the voice of the Father calling His people to rise. We are living in a time when darkness grows bold… but Jehovah grows bolder. When the world grows cold… but Jehovah grows warmer. When nations shake… but Jehovah remains everlasting strength.

In the middle of daily noise, endless notifications, and demanding schedules, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the demands of life. We spend so much energy trying to maintain control, manage outcomes, and secure our own stability. Yet, the Scriptures invite us into a completely different way of living—one rooted in quiet trust in Jehovah God.
