🏔️ The Faith of a Reluctant Leader: The Story of Moses

Imagine being a fugitive shepherd in the desert when a burning bush starts talking to you. That’s how the legendary journey of Moses began. He didn't start as a confident hero; he started as a man with an excuse, who eventually became the backbone of a nation.

📜 Breaking Down the Verse

The core of Moses’ story is found in Exodus. His life can be summed up in two massive, world-changing movements:

  • The Exodus: Leading the Israelites out of 400 years of Egyptian slavery. This wasn't just a physical walk to freedom; it was a spiritual rescue mission. 🌊

  • The Covenant: Receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. This gave a group of former slaves a moral compass and a divine identity. ⚖️

✨ Making It Better: From History to Heart

While "he led them out and got the laws" is the summary, the truth is much deeper. Moses shows us that God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Moses had a stutter and a "checkered" past, yet he stood before the most powerful man on earth (Pharaoh) and demanded justice. His story is about obedience over ability. When he raised his staff, the sea didn't part because Moses was strong—it parted because he was faithful.

📖 Supporting Scriptures

Exodus 14:13 "Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.'"
Hebrews 11:24-25 "By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin."
Deuteronomy 34:10 "Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face."

Moses was a shepherd with a stutter, yet he became the man who parted the Red Sea and brought down the Law from the mountain. He traded the comfort of a palace for the grit of the desert—all to lead his people to the Promise. 🕊️🏜️

Whatever "Egypt" you’re stuck in, or whatever giant task is in front of you, remember: The same God who was with Moses is with you today. Let’s walk in faith! 👣🔥

🙏 St. Mykul’s Prayer: A Plea for Divine Alignment

📜 The Prayer

“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,

and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts

and implant your thoughts Father all the time,

as I do not even want my thoughts.”

In Jesus Name I pray, Amen
