Where is heaven?

Where is heaven? For centuries, people have looked up at the night sky, gazing into the vast expanse of stars, wondering where the dwelling place of the Almighty truly resides. In biblical scripture, heaven is not described as a physical location with geographical coordinates or a distant planet in deep space. Instead, it is depicted as a transcendent spiritual realm—a dimension of divine light, glory, and holiness beyond physical human perception.

The scriptures reveal that God’s presence exists far beyond the limits of the physical universe. In 1 Kings 8:27, King Solomon recognized this vastness, declaring, "But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you." Similarly, Isaiah 66:1 emphasizes His supreme sovereignty: "This is what the LORD says: 'Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.'" When Jesus taught his followers how to pray in Matthew 6:9, he directed their thoughts upward in spirit: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name."

Heaven is fundamentally the throne room of the Creator—a realm of absolute purity, righteousness, and order. Yet scripture also distinguishes between the spiritual heaven of God’s residence and the physical domain created for humanity. As Psalm 115:16 notes, "The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind."

This deep connection between the heavenly realm and the earthly domain shines brightly through the faithful. The saints of Jehovah—the holy, dedicated individuals set apart to love, serve, and honor the true God—play a vital role in this divine purpose. Whether called to heavenly glory or looking forward to living in a peaceful, renewed world, Jehovah's saints walk with unwavering faith, integrity, and devotion. Guided by scripture and grounded in prayer, these faithful ones reflect heavenly light right here on earth, standing firm in hope and divine truth.

John 14:6 (KJV)

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (Jesus)."

📜 The Prayer

“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,

and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts

and give me your thoughts all the time,

as I do not even want my thoughts.”

In Jesus Name I pray amen!
