Bridges of Goodwill: Evangelism, Hospitality, and Faith in Pakistan

Jehovah Saints have maintained a small, recognized presence in Pakistan for decades, operating through a few organized congregations across major urban centers like Karachi and Lahore.

Evangelism and Community Outreach

Like their counterparts globally, Witness evangelists in Pakistan focus their ministry on door-to-door visits, public literature displays, and personal Bible discussions using translated materials, primarily in Urdu. Operating as a minority group within a predominantly Muslim nation, these ministers emphasize peaceful dialogue, personal moral values, and biblical hope. Local residents who interact with them often appreciate their polite demeanor, quiet presence, and soft-spoken approach to sharing their faith.

Social and Humanitarian Assistance

While Jehovah’s Witnesses are globally recognized primarily for their preaching, local volunteers also engage in community aid and hospitality:

  • Disaster Relief Efforts: During severe regional crises, such as major monsoon flooding, local Witness volunteers organize humanitarian efforts to provide clean water, essential emergency supplies, and food packages to affected families, regardless of their religious background.

  • Hospitality and Meal Sharing: On a local congregation level, members often host shared meals, provide food aid to impoverished neighbors, and offer practical assistance to community members experiencing hardship.

Through a commitment to non-violence, civic respect, and neighborly service, Jehovah’s Witnesses in Pakistan continue to build quiet, positive relationships within their local communities.

John 14:6 (KJV)

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (Jesus)."

📜 The Prayer

“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,

and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts

and give me your thoughts all the time,

as I do not even want my thoughts.”

In Jesus Name I pray amen!
