🌟 Don't Forget Who Holds the Power! 🌟

It is so easy to look at our bank accounts, our promotions, or our successes and think, "I did this. My late nights and my talent built this empire." 💼💪

But Deuteronomy 8:16-18 gives us a powerful reality check. God led the Israelites through the wilderness, feeding them manna—something they couldn't even explain—to teach them a vital lesson: Humility is the prerequisite for handled blessing.

📖 The Breakdown: What This Means

  • The Testing Phase (v. 16): God often allows us to go through "wilderness" seasons—times of preparation—not to hurt us, but to humble us. He wants to ensure that when the "good end" comes, our character can handle our calling. 🍞✨

  • The Pride Trap (v. 17): We are warned against the "I-built-this" syndrome. When we take the credit, we lose the connection to the Source. 🚫🧠

  • The Source of Success (v. 18): It isn't just that God gives you wealth; He gives you the power (the health, the ideas, the opportunities) to get it. He does this to keep His promises and advance His kingdom on earth. 🌍🙌

🕊️ Supporting Scriptures

To go deeper, keep these truths in your heart:

  • 1 Corinthians 4:7 – "For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?"

  • Proverbs 10:22 – "The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich; And he addeth no sorrow with it."

  • James 1:17 – "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights..."

✨ The Bottom Line

Success is a gift, but it’s also a responsibility. When we remember that God is the provider, our wealth becomes a tool for His purpose rather than a weight for our ego.

Stay humble. Stay hungry for Him. Stay blessed. 🙏✨

📜 The Prayer

“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,

and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts

and implant your thoughts Father all the time,
