In a world constantly competing for our attention, true alignment begins when we reorder our priorities. Putting God first isn't just a spiritual discipline; it is the ultimate expression of a mind renewed for purpose and authority.
When we look at the legacy of biblical leadership, we see a distinct pattern in how true leaders direct their focus. King David modeled a profound way of thinking—a mindset anchored in absolute devotion before ambition.
"Whom have I in heaven but You? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside You."— Psalm 73:25
This is a true King's way of thinking. Before managing a nation, winning battles, or building a legacy, David understood that his primary allegiance and highest desire belonged to God alone. When your heart is fully fixed on the Creator, every earthly goal, decision, and pursuit falls into its proper place. Putting God first simplifies your desires and clarifies your direction.
When you align your mindset with God’s sovereignty, the promise of dynamic stability follows. Notice the covenant spoken over David’s lineage:
"Your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me. Your throne shall be established forever."— 2 Samuel 7:16
Notice the order of operations: foundational devotion comes first, followed by an everlasting establishment. True legacy isn't built on human effort alone—it is secured by divine promise. When God occupies the first position in your life, your work, family, and purpose are anchored on a foundation that cannot be shaken.
To adopt a royal mindset today:
Evaluate Your Desires: Ask yourself if your earthly pursuits outweigh your ultimate pursuit of God.
Anchor Your Thoughts: Adopt the perspective that true strength comes from divine dependence, not self-reliance.
Build for Eternity: Frame your daily actions around eternal promises rather than temporary gains.
When God is first, everything else finds its rightful place. Align your thinking today, and walk in the certainty of His established promises.

John 14:6 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (Jesus)."
📜 The Prayer
“I pray for Jehovah to speak through me all the time,
and I pray for Jehovah to remove all my thoughts
and give me your thoughts all the time,
as I do not even want my thoughts.”
In Jesus Name I pray amen!
