1. The Living Temple and Faith in Action

A foundational concept of the faith is that every individual is a "Living Temple"—a physical embodiment of faith and compassion. Drawing heavily from James 2:17 ("Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead"), the teachings emphasize active, practical service over passive waiting. The goal is to unite believers across Abrahamic traditions to serve, love, and uplift others—particularly by addressing homelessness and helping those in need.

2. Guarding the Heart and the Eternal Soul

Centering on Proverbs 4:23 ("Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"), Jehovah Saints view the heart as the connection between the human body and the eternal soul. They place a strong emphasis on maintaining a clean heart, cultivating pure thoughts, and allowing love to drive all actions.

3. Jehovah’s Laws vs. Man’s Laws

A key distinction made in Jehovah Saints doctrine is the difference between God's original commandments and human rules:

The 10 Commandments & Love: The faith teaches that Jehovah provided only 10 fundamental laws, and that living out of genuine love fulfillments God’s intent.
Critique of Human Authority: Many legal structures, rigid traditions, and heavy societal burdens (such as taxes or property control) are viewed as man-made constructs rather than divine directives. True freedom is found in alignment with Jehovah’s principles rather than human governance.

4. Salvation and Repentance

Salvation is taught as accessible through sincere belief and heart-driven confession, citing Romans 10:9–10 and 1 John 1:9.

Role of Repentance: Repentance is emphasized as essential to cleansing from unrighteousness (Luke 13:5).
View on Water Baptism: While water baptism is respected as an act that builds personal faith, it is not taught as a strict requirement for salvation, placing the primary weight on faith and heart transformation.

5. Divine Protection and Total Reliance on Jehovah

Believers are encouraged to seek complete reliance on Jehovah rather than their own intellect or human leaders. This includes trusting in God's promises of angelic protection (Psalm 91:11) and striving to align one's thoughts entirely with God's higher ways (Isaiah 55:8–9).
