Proverbs 31:10, it's easy to focus solely on the ideal image of a godly spouse. But in the original Hebrew text, the word translated as "noble character" or "virtuous" is chayil (חַיִל).

Obadiah 1:4, God addresses the nation of Edom. Known for their mountainous stronghold in Sela (Petra) and their proud altitude, Edom believed their geography made them untouchable. In Moses 1:39, God reveals His ultimate purpose and focus: us. God’s entire "work and glory" centers on making it possible for His children to experience both immortality (resurrection and living forever) and eternal life (exaltation and living in His presence as joint-heirs with Christ).
